Creating a Playlist for your wedding, what songs do I choose to make my event a success?

In general there are a lot of couples that don't have any idea of what to play for everyone at their wedding. The best option is usually to pick around 20 or songs you like and have the DJ fit in the rest, because the DJ will generally know what songs people will dance to that fit your requests. Now for the important music such as ceremony selections, First Dance, Father Daughter and Mother Son dances, your DJ should have a suggestion list to help with picking something that will fit your event and if not there are some great resources but you would need to know where to look. One of the best resources is Youtube, the next would be Amazon MP3, Spotify where you can build whole playlists for your wedding or event, and lastly is I-tunes. All of these are great resources for your wedding and you would type in to the search of what song selection you would be interested in getting advice for like Pre-ceremony music, bouquet and Garter or the best cake cutting songs. It may seem overwhelming selecting music but this process simplifies it for you but sometimes can give you too many options and then you have to decide the best one you would like. You can also ask your DJ what song would fit for whatever theme you are having and they may be able to help you with a great selection or resource as well. Generally if you have an wedding or event an experienced DJ will be your best resource as they play music for many people every weekend and are familiar with what trends and music people are dancing to.
