Many venues request these items before a performer can perform at their location and we provide them with our proof of insurance and business license to operate in the state of Florida.
Will my DJ act as the master of ceremonies?
In addition to playing music, your Elegant Entertainment DJ will act as master of ceremonies. We are comfortable speaking inpublic and will keep yourguests involved throughout your event. We will gladly handleany announcements and pride ourselves in our ability to keep your event organized and running smoothly.
What music will my DJ bring to my event?
At Elegant Entertainment we currently have over 500,000 + song titles in our music library and access to unlimited songs inour online library and add over 100 or more new song titles each and every month. Our music library spans over 10 decades so regardless of the type of music you would like to hear, we would be able to satisfy your needs. All of these songs are categorized on our computerdatabase and our Digital collection. We make sure before we arrive that the very important music such as your First dance, Father Daughter dance and Mother Son dance are saved and tested to make sure there are no mistakes for thosevery important events.
Does my DJ take requests?
At Elegant Entertainment our DJs gladly takerequests. Keep in mind that this is your event, so why settle for aDJ that wants to play only what they like.
Will you purchase music requests that are not already available?
Absolutely, music is our business, and withover 500,000 song titles currently available the chances are that we already have your request. But in the unlikely event we would not, we will be more than happy to locate it without any additional charge. The only thing we require is that you list any such requests on the appropriate event planner and submit this at least 2 weeks priorto your scheduled date.
How will my DJ be dressed?
Whether your event is formal or casual, your DJwill always bedressed appropriately. Fromtuxedos to khakis we will be happy to accommodate you.
What types of parties do you specialize in?
Although we have provided disc jockey entertainment for thousands of events such as weddings, party’s, Dances, bat mitzvahs, corporate events and sweet 16's, our specialty is definitely wedding receptions.

What if the DJ gets sick?
We are happy to report that no DJ has ever missed an event due to any circumstance. However, it is always possible for something completely unforeseen and extraordinary to occur. We belong to the National Association of Mobile Entertainers and would begin with findinga suitable replacement fromtheassociation first. We also network with a teamof other pro DJs in the Orlando area thatwould come to our aid if it were necessary.
What if a piece of equipment breaks?
We invest in the best equipment to avoidchances of equipment failure. In addition, all equipment is well maintained, road-cased,and properly run. However, it is always possible something could happen. Spare parts,tools, and in most cases backup equipment is onsite to repair or fixa problemthat might occur.
When does the DJ setup?
Our preference is to have at least an hour and a half to two hours for setup. This allows us to sound check the room, properly secure all cables, and have time to work with any last minute details. Setup and teardown is free of charge.
This is my first time hiring a professional disc jockey. All DJs are the same, right? They just play music.
This is a common misconception. Especially with wedding DJs, there is quite a bit of work going on behind the scenes. A professional disc jockey will work closely with catering staff, photographer, and other eventpersonnel to coordinate events. During the dancing portion, your disc jockey will bechoosing the right music based on audience response and experience. We believe your reception should be elegant and enjoyable for all.
