Will my DJ act as the master of ceremonies?
In addition to playing music, your Elegant Entertainment DJ will act as master of ceremonies. We are
comfortable speaking in public and will keep your guests involved throughout your event. We will gladly
handle any announcements and pride ourselves in our ability to keep your event organized and running
smoothly.
What music will my DJ bring to my event?
At Elegant Entertainment we currently have over 10,000 song titles in our CD music library and access to
over 30,000 songs in our computer library. We add over 100 new song titles each and every month. Our
music library spans over 8 decades so regardless of the type of music you would like to hear, we would be
able to satisfy your needs. All of these songs are categorized on our computer database and our CD
collection. We make sure before we arrive that the very important music such as your First dance, Father
daughter dance and Mother son dance are prerecorded copied and tested to make sure there are no
mistakes for those very important events.
Does my DJ take requests?
At Elegant Entertainment our DJ's gladly take requests. Keep in mind that this is your event, so why settle
for a DJ that wants to play only what they like.
Will you purchase music requests that are not already available?
Absolutely, music is our business, and with over 30,000 song titles currently available the chances are that
we already have your request. But in the unlikely event we would not, we will be more than happy to locate it
without any additional charge. The only thing we require is that you list any such requests on the appropriate
event planner and submit this at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date.
How will my DJ be dressed?
Whether your event is formal or casual, your DJ will always be dressed appropriately. From tuxedos to
khakis we will be happy to accommodate you.
What types of parties do you specialize in?
Although we have provided disc jockey entertainment for hundreds of events such as weddings, party’s,
Dances, bat mitzvahs, corporate events and sweet 16's, our specialty is definitely wedding receptions.
What type of equipment do your DJ's provide?
At Elegant Entertainment we use only state of the art professional DJ equipment. Highly skilled sound and
lighting engineers design all of our systems. This type of commitment to excellence is unsurpassed by
anyone. Any of our systems will provide excellent sound clarity and quality. We use the only the best names
in equipment such as Crown, Denon, Numark and Yamaha.
How much does your disc jockey service cost?
You might be surprised how little the difference in cost between a low budget, inexperienced DJ and a highly
qualified professional. Our rates are based on the type and length of your event. We will be more than

What if the DJ gets sick?
We are happy to report that no DJ has ever missed an event due to any circumstance. However, it is always
possible for something completely unforeseen and extraordinary to occur. We belong to the National
Association of Mobile Entertainers and would begin with finding a suitable replacement from the association
first. We also network with a team of other pro DJ's in the Orlando area that would come to our aid if it were
necessary.
What if a piece of equipment breaks?
We invest in the best equipment to avoid chances of equipment failure. In addition, all equipment is well
maintained, road-cased, and properly run. However, it is always possible something could happen. Spare
parts, tools, and in most cases backup equipment is on site to repair or fix a problem that might occur.
When does the DJ setup?
Our preference is to have at least an hour to an hour and a half for setup. This allows us to sound check the
room, properly secure all cables, and have time to work with any last minute details. Setup and tear down is
free of charge.
This is my first time hiring a professional disc jockey. All DJ's are the same, right? They just
play music.
This is a common misconception. Especially with wedding DJs, there is quite a bit of work going on behind
the scenes. A professional disc jockey will work closely with catering staff, photographer, and other event
personnel to coordinate events. During the dancing portion, your disc jockey will be choosing the right music
based on audience response and experience. We believe your reception should be elegant and enjoyable for
all. Our DJs will be energetic, but not overwhelming to you and your guests. Our service is different than
most others; we customize your Event or Wedding to fit your individual needs and requests. A policy that we
enforce is "we aren't happy until are customers are". We have a highly experienced staff that will play and
do whatever you request, for you and your guests to have a memorable and enjoyable Event.
